I. Product Overview

Aluminum honeycomb panels are a new type of high-grade sandwich panel primarily composed of aluminum alloy panels, aluminum honeycomb cores, and an adhesive structure. Its structure mimics the natural hexagonal honeycomb pattern, possessing extremely high strength-to-weight ratio, excellent flatness, sound and heat insulation, fire resistance, and moisture resistance. It is one of the preferred materials for modern building curtain walls and high-end interior decoration.

II. Product Structure

The aluminum honeycomb panel consists of three parts:

Aluminum Face Sheet

Made of high-quality 3003/5052 aluminum alloy sheet

Thickness is typically 0.5–1.0 mm

Aluminum Honeycomb Core

Made of 3003 aluminum foil, expanded and stretched to form a hexagonal honeycomb structure

Density can be customized (8–20 mm thickness is common)

Back Sheet

Made of the same material as the face sheet, but other metals can also be used as needed.

The entire panel is formed in one piece using a high-temperature hot-pressing composite process, resulting in extremely high surface flatness.
